First off, the Amazon info lists this jacket as being 75% cotton/25% nylon. The Levis label that's sewn into the jacket says that the shell is 100% cotton, and everything else is 100% polyester. There's no indication on the tag about any "sherpa lining" (whatever that is). Also, the label says to "line dry" and use a cool iron if needed, contrary to the product info which says to "tumble dry" and don't iron. And yes, the jacket that I got looks exactly like the one in the Amazon sales photo.
The jacket is soft to the touch, both inside and out, and as stated by another buyer it's really comfortable to wear. There are 5 outer pockets - 2 for your hands, 2 with fastened flaps and 1 with a zip. There is one open pocket on the inside.
One of the reasons I chose this jacket over the others I looked at was the fact that it has buttons in front in addition to the zip. I'm not in a cold country, so I really don't know how well it would work there. I'm using this in a heavily air-conditioned electronics environment, so it's just the ticket.

Previously a puffy nerd, now I'm a cool chick magnet with this jacket. Well, that overstates things just a tiny bit, but it IS very nice. Exactly what I was looking for.
