I am 5'7" and I bought these pants in regular length that is just right: not too long. They look great with high heels and look relaxed with low heels. Inseam is long enough to fit perfectly. These pants are high rise - just below the belly button - this makes them comfortable and helps avoid a "muffin" top. They do make my figure slim and keep my tummy tucked as promised. Stitching is incredible - very precise. Fabric is stretchy and quality is excellent. The black color is coal black. I read the reviews for Levi's Women's 512 Boot Cut and followed the advice to buy a size smaller than usual. This made the trick: pants fit like a glove! I did not laundry them yet but there is a tag cautioning that the dye may come off and pants must be laundered inside out with similar colors. I will add a bit of vinegar during the rinse cycle to help the color last longer. This was my first time buying pants online and I never thought I would find the best fitting pair online.

Levi's 512 straight leg jeans were my all time favorites. They disappeared and returned with a little stretch.
I ordered a pair in my usual size 4 but should have heeded another reviewers comment. They run small I could not get them closed. I am returning them but see I cannot get an exchange. I must now order another size and pay more than what was advertised. Not happy about that. But once I get these jeans on I will be very happy. I just wish they would make jeans in all cotton. I don't like stretch in any of my jeans!
